• Butyrospermum parkii butter (shea butter)

• Sesamum indicum seed oil (sesame seed oil)

  Sesame seed oil is rich in essential fatty acids. Known for its softening and skin-rejuvenating properties, it penetrates quickly without being greasy.

• Helianthus annuus seed oil (sunflower seed oil)

  Sunflower seed oil is a lightweight oil that is extremely rich in Vitamin E. This oil is known for its moisture retention and skin-softening capabilities. It doesn’t leave behind an oily residue and it also helps in forming a natural barrier on the outermost layer of the skin in order to protect it from damage. The presence of antioxidants like Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Vitamin E in sunflower seed oil makes it an excellent anti-ageing ingredient because it manages to protect the skin from free radical damage as well as sun damage.

• Citrus aurantium dulcis peel oil expressed (orange essential oil)

  Orange essential oil is astringent, i.e. tightens pores to improve skin texture. It is also known to help the epidermis better withstand external aggressions and signs of ageing. Its vitamin C is known for activating microcirculation and toning the complexion, and for soothing dry, irritated skin as well as acne-prone skin.

• Origanum majorana herb oil (sweet marjoram essential oil)

  This herb used in cosmetics since Ancient Greece is a natural antiseptic, and can also help to soothe the skin. It is also rich in antioxidants which fight free-radical damage.

• Citrus aurantifolia oil (lime essential oil)

• Alcohol

  We do not use alcohol as an ingredient as it dries the skin, however, there is a small quantity in this formula, as it is used to extract the benzoin resin.

  Rich in volatile oils, flavonoids and phenolic acids that are antiseptic and anti-inflammatory, rosemary essential oil helps to cleanse and soothe skin. It has excellent toning and binding effects, while at the same time increasing blood flow with its rubefacient action, which in turn promotes proper skin function. It helps to relieve skin congestion, resulting in firmer skin and better skin tone. It promotes a healthy-looking complexion.

• Styrax tonkinensis resin extract (benzoin resin extract)

  Styrax benzoin is a species of the evergreen tree. Its main benefits include its antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and astringent properties, as well as protecting the skin by forming an invisible film that prevents moisture loss, improving skin’s elasticity and smoothing it.

• Benzyl benzoate, citral, geraniol, limonene, linalool

  These are not ingredients in the formula, but naturally occurring allergens mostly from essential oils which have to be indicated on packaging over a certain threshold as per European regulations. According to the European Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS), 1% to 3% of the European population may be allergic to these natural substances.
